Tablets
I couldn’t find much on Apple iPad tablets, so you won’t see any deals on the iPads. But there are some other deals so keep reading!
I love the wide screen of my Samsung S7+ Tablet. I can split screen my digital planner and my stickers side-by-side using Samsung Notes or with other cloud-storages. As an Android Digital Planner I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the digital planning experience and I save money on my tablet. Check out all the savings for Android Tablets, here!
The Samsung Store on Amazon is including a lot of their tablets for 30-40% off so this is a great time to buy for your digital planning needs or even for school.
When I started digital planning in 2021, I purchased the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7+ 12.4” 128GB and includes the S-Pen stylus and had the NoteShelf App pre-installed. So you can start digital planning right out of the box! Even if you don’t like NoteShelf, you can try Samsung Notes which is free or check out the Penly App (Android).
SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S8+ 12.4” 128GB
The upgraded version of the S7+ tablet if you want to get the latest and greatest. With a lower GB for a cheaper price point, you can add more internal storage with a micro SD (more on that below for Prime!).
SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7 FE 12.4” 256GB
Here is a cheaper option in the FE series that has less bells and whistles like less speakers, etc. But planning wise, I’ve heard good things about the FE tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 12.4” 256GB has the same screen size as the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7+ 12.4” 128 GB .

Digital Planning Alternatives for PC Digital Planning
Are you still unsure of the digital planning before making the investment into all the gadgets? If you have a Mac or PC you can still digital plan on the computer. You just need a PDF annotation that will allow you to mark up PDF files and import images. You can use your keyboard to type your plans or if you are more of a paper and pen person, you can check out some graphic drawing tablets.
There are so many different types of drawing tablets at different price points. You don’t need anything fancy, just something that will let you connect it to you computer and use the included pen. Graphic drawing tablets are a great option for those who don’t want to invest in a tablet just for digital planning and have access to a computer.
For this reason, I have both PDF and OneNote digital planners in my shop.
Wacom Intuos Small Bluetooth Graphics Drawing Tablet
This is a small graphic tablet that won’t take up too much space on your desktop and give you access to a stylus. It would be a great alternative to a tablet if you want to use your computer for digital planning and still have the feel of writing. If you like to draw, the Wacom Intuos can be used in for that too!
HUION H610 Pro V2 Graphic Drawing Tablet
If you want more bang for your buck and want a larger screen area to write and draw, check out this drawing tablet from Huion (this is the one that I have).
Screen Protectors
For your digital planning, you’ll definitely want to pick up a screen protector to protect your tablet screen from regular use with your stylus. There are two ways you can protect your screen. The first and most common is to use an adhesive screen protector. This will go directly on the surface of your tablet. The second option is to use a tablet case that has a screen cover with it.
I’ve tried both and personally, a case with a built in cover can sometimes make the tablet screen less sensitive to the touch. This can be both good and bad. I’ve also tried glossy glass screen protectors and matte paper-like screen protectors.
Android Screen Protectors
For Android tablets like the Samsung Tablet models that come with the S-Pen, the stylus works better with a glass screen protector. Here’s the one I used and there’s a Prime Deal on it! (Exclusive Prime Deal)
If you want to use a matte screen protector, I suggest using a different stylus tip like a metal or plastic tip since that will work better than the soft rubber tip that is on the S-Pen. Apple iPad Screen Protectors
For iPad screen protectors, check out these prime deals here. A popular matte screen for iPads is from the brand Paperlike, which is on sale for Prime Day. It has over 7,000 reviews and a 4-star rating. Another cool screen protector for iPads are magnetic screen protectors that add privacy and also come in matte.
EMR Digital Pencil Stylus & Pen Tips for Android Tablets
If you’re looking for a new stylus to replace your S-pen or maybe your android tablet didn’t come with a stylus, check out these styluses below. I’ve actually used all of these and they are all great replacements. The best fit for you depends on your needs. Do you like them shorter, longer, wider, thinner? What’s your ergonomic fit?
I won’t go into all the details of every stylus, but I plan to do a comparison video of the ones I’ve tried and when that video is available, I’ll link it here. None of the styluses are participating in Prime Day, but they ARE ALL ON SALE (at least 40% off) at the time of this publication at the same time as the 2023 Prime Day Event.
Lamy All-Star EMR Stylus Digital Pen
This stylus uses EMR technology and features a button on the side like the S-Pen. This is a fancy stylus that gives you the look and feel of a rollerball pen. You can actually switch out the casing to a colored pen case if you shop their line of Lamy All-Star rollerball pens. Check out the Lamy here!
Staedtler Noris EMR Stylus Classic Size
This is a great stylus if you’re looking for some nostalgia. It has a faux wood body and has the same size, look, and feel of a #2 pencil. You can even add a pencil grip for some comfort. The nice thing about this is the length because it’s longer than the s-pen. Grab the Noris stylus here!
Staedtler Noris EMR Stylus w/eraser Jumbo Size
This is a personal favorite for being lightweight, wider and more ergonomic and features a functional eraser on the end (like a real pencil). Keep in mind the eraser is not supported on all tablet applications.
No Worn Out Titanium Pencil Nibs for S-Pen and Wacom One
If you want a long lasting solution to nibs wearing down so quickly, check out this Titanium Alloy Nib Replacements. This is made for the Wacom One Pen, but from personal experience works with the S-Pen and also the Staedtler EMR Stylus that I mentioned previously.
Keep in mind, these are third-party tips so the Wacom and Samsung companies won’t endorse products that are not theirs and cannot take responsibility if anything happens to your digital pens. So if you use the tips, it’s at your own risk. These are the same tips I use in my S-Pen and in my Staedler Noris Classic.

Digital Planning Storage Solutions

The SanDisk Ultra is a more budget friendly option and operates at 150MB/s. It’s not as fast as the Extreme version but is still a great storage solution for all the planners and stickers you can imagine. You can save a little more money with the SanDisk 1TB Ultra version here.
SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD
Are you looking for a storage solution that you can use across devices? This is an external and portable solid-state drive that uses has a USB-c connector and includes a USB adaptor. This is one I use personally and it’s great if you want to access your files between multiple devices. At the time of this publication, it’s not in the Prime Day Sale, but it is over 60% off which is an awesome deal.
Wireless Keyboard & Mouse
I will say that a keyboard and mouse is not needed for digital planning, especially if you’re using a stylus. However, it is a nice accessory to have. Especially, if you don’t like your hand-writing and you can use a font that looks like handwritten.
It’s a lot faster to plan out your day and the mouse works to click and drag things just like your stylus!! A bonus when your mouse and keyboard are on sale and have a nice look to them. Check out all the fun keyboard and mouse combos below!
